HORSPATH'S weekend league and cup programme fell victim to the wet weather with all six matches washed out without a ball being bowled.
With heavy rain on Thursday and Friday falling on an already saturated Recreation Ground, Horspath's Home Counties Premier League game against Slough on Saturday and the Voneus Village Cup Oxfordshire semi-final at home to Langford on Sunday were both called off.

The 3rd XI's game at Bletchley Town in Division 4A suffered a similar fate, while there was double disappointment for the 4th XI with their Division 6B home match against Bampton and the Steve Dixon Memorial Cup tie at Steventon abandoned.
The May mayhem has led to a fixture reshuffle with the Village Cup tie against Langford now set to take place at the Recreation Ground next Sunday. The prize for the winners is a place in the county final at home to Aston Rowant, who beat Minster Lovell by 49 runs, on June 6.
The 3rd XI are at home to Minster Lovell in the Airey Cup on the second pitch next Sunday, while the 4th XI's trip to Steventon has been rearranged for June 6.
Meanwhile, Horspath are due to launch their Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup challenge at Cumnor on Tuesday. The club are in Pool 3 with their other games against Didcot, East Oxford, Oxenford and Oxford. The top two from each of the four groups go into the last eight of Oxon Cup with the third and fourth-placed teams going on to compete at the same stage of the Wilf Bennett Trophy.
