Horspath handed home tie against Sandford in Village Cup

HORSPATH have been drawn at home to Sandford St Martin in the Voneus Village Cup first round on Sunday, April 25. 

Nineteen clubs line up in Oxfordshire (Group 19) with three preliminary round ties including Aston Rowant against Cumnor. 

The Village Cup clocks up a half-century

Shipton-under-Wychwood, national champions in 2002 and 2003, and Tiddington, runners-up at Lord's in 1995 when current Horspath players Adrian Manger and Robin Pykett were in the side, meet in round one. 

OXFORDSHIRE (GROUP 19) 

Preliminary round (April 11): Cropredy v Langford, Horley v Oxford Downs, Aston Rowant v Cumnor.

1st round (April 25): Cropredy or Langford v Steeple Aston, Horley or Oxford Downs v Baldons, Horspath v Sandford St Martin, Ascott-under-Wychwood v Eynsham, Aston Rowant or Cumnor v Kingston Bagpuize, Shipton-under-Wychwood v Tiddington, Moreton v Great & Little Tew, Minster Lovell v Oxford & Bletchington Nondescripts.
