HORSPATH 3rd clinched top spot in Cherwell League Tier 3A with an emphatic 112-run home victory over Great & Little Tew.
Chris Batten (47) and Dan Todd (43) shared a first-wicket stand of 69 after Horspath were put in to bat. The hosts' middle order failed to fire, and it was left to skipper Andy Cummings (20no) to take them to their final total of 169-8.
Tew were then shot out for 57 with Saif Dogar taking 4-29 and Adrian Manger 3-6, while there was a wicket apiece for Cummings and Jason Cardy.
Horspath will now entertain Tier 3B winners Aston Rowant 3rd next Saturday.
