JONTY Hedges followed up his first five-wicket haul last week with his first half-century in Horspath 4th's seven-wicket defeat at home to Didcot 3rd in Cherwell League Division 7.
Hedges struck six fours and two sixes in a run-a-ball 55 as Horspath posted 143 all out after choosing to bat. He shared a third-wicket stand of 81 with Joe Gibbs (25), but the last eight wickets fell for 42 runs as Ben Richmond (3-3) and Alan Prothero (3-36) did the damage.
Openers Peter Sharp (62no) and Oscar Bean (31) then steered Didcot to victory at 146-3 with Jamie Hicks picking up 2-19.
