Christopher Hofen produced a fine spell with 2-29 off 10 overs, before Skelton returned to claim two more wickets and finish with 4-37. Suban Javaid also picked up two wickets.
Joey Todd (36) got Horspath's run chase off to a solid start, before they lost three wickets in quick succession to slump to 46-3.
Stand-in skipper Robbie Eason (47no) steadied the ship, though, and ensured Horspath claimed a share of the spoils at the close.
Woodward completed a fine all-round game with 3-48, while there were also two wickets apiece for Harry Bartlett and Adam Mould.
The draw sees Horspath move back up to third - 14 points behind leaders Brackley.
