His quick-fire trio helped him return figures of 5-33 as Bampton were bowled out for 116 after choosing to bat.
It could have been much worse for the hosts, though, as they were 59-9, before the last pair of Dan Walker (33no) and Tom Eagle (26) put on 57 for the final wicket.
Opening bowler Josh Cummings (2-18) returned to end their stand, with Stuart Berry (2-39) and Euan Barret (1-20) also among the wickets.
Horspath then coasted to a six-wicket win at 118-4 off 21 overs, with George Crawford (28no) seeing the visitors home.
Hadi Ali chipped in with 24 and Wharton made 22, sharing a fourth-wicket stand of 57 with Crawford.
