That means that sides in Tiers 3 and 4 - including Horspath 3rd - will battle it out for the Airey Cup with the club being handed a home tie against Minster Lovell in the round of 16 on Sunday, May 16. The winners will be away to Kingston Bagpuize or holders Oxenford in the quarter-finals.
Horspath have lifted the impressive trophy eight times, with the last success coming in 1991 in the club's final season in the OCA before joining the Trinity League. Max Eason was man-of-the-match in the final with a superb century in a seven-wicket win over Sandford St Martin at Chipping Norton.
The club are also set to make what is believed to be a first appearance in the Steve Dixon Memorial Cup - another former OCA competition - for Tier 6 sides, with the 4th XI drawn away to Steventon in the round of 16 on May 16. The winners will be away to Brill, who have a bye in round one. Both competitions are 40 overs-a-side.
Meanwhile, the Voneus Village Cup first round draw is due to take place next Friday, March 5 at 1pm. Horspath are among 347 clubs who have entered this year's competition - the highest number in the last decade. The draw - which will be in the form of a video - will be uploaded to www.nationalvillagecup.com on the same afternoon. The first round is due to take place on April 25.
