Horspath face Downs and Oxenford double-headers

HORSPATH are set for double-headers with Oxford Downs and Oxenford on the opening day of the season after the Cherwell League released its fixtures for the 2021 campaign.

May 8 start

While the 1st XI are at home to Downs in Home Counties Premier League Division 2 on May 8 - as reported in an earlier post here - the 2nd XI are away to Downs 2nd in Cherwell Division 2.

The 3rd XI, meanwhile, entertain Oxenford in Division 4A with the 4th XI visiting Oxenford 2nd in Division 6B after the Cherwell was restructured with the clubs from the OCA joining up.

On the following Saturday, the 2nd XI are at home to Sandford St Martin, while the 3rd XI travel to Aston Rowant 3rd and the 4th XI entertain Radley. The 2nd XI end the season away to Shipton-under-Wychwood on September 4, with the 3rd XI at home to Westcott and the 4th XI at Garsington & Cowley 2nd.

Division 2: Challow & Childrey v Bicester & North Oxford, Oxford Downs 2nd v Horspath 2nd, Sandford St Martin v Buckingham Town 2nd, Shipton-under-Wychwood v Bledlow Village, Wolverton Town v Aston Rowant 2nd.

Division 4A: Bledlow Ridge v Long Marston 2nd, Bletchley Town v Westcott, Garsington & Cowley v Aston Rowant 3rd, Great Brickhill 2nd v Tiddington 2nd, Horspath 3rd v Oxenford.

Division 6B: Oxenford 2nd v Horspath 4th, Radley v Garsington & Cowley 2nd, Risinghurst v Bampton, Witney Mills 2nd v Oxford Downs 3rd, Witney Swifts 2nd v East Oxford 2nd.
