Smith then made 59 not out off 76 balls with seven fours as Horspath coasted to victory at 140-3 from 30 overs. He shared a second-wicket stand of 68 with young opener Chris Batten (17), before being joined by Mohson Rana (28no) to see Horspath home. The win keeps Horspath joint top with Didcot 2nd.
Horspath 2nd's game at Brackley in Tier 2B was abandoned due to rain.
Horspath 4th's match at Bledlow Ridge 2nd in Tier 5A suffered the same fate, but they have now gone top of the section with Abingdon Vale 3rd picking up just three points in their 13-run defeat at Aston Rowant 4th.
