HORSPATH continued their defence of the Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup by coasting to an eight-wicket win at Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts in Pool 3.
The holders restricted Nondescripts to 88-8 off their 20 overs after the hosts had elected to bat. Young off-spinners Alfie Turner (3-25) and Luke Heritage (2-12) led the way backed up by Tyrone Eyles (1-10) and stand-in skipper Darryl Brown (1-21) together with some safe catching.
Opener Robbie Eason then hit four boundaries in an unbeaten 42 from 40 balls as Horspath eased home at 89-2 with six overs to spare.
