HAYDEN Moon hit his first Cherwell League half-century with a majestic 75 in Horspath 4th's 66-run home defeat by East Oxford 2nd in Division 7.
With the visitors posting 281-8 off 45 overs after they were put in to bat, Moon led the run chase with skipper Carl Thompson (67) before the hosts were bowled out for 215. Sajad Khan was the chief destroyer with 5-17.
Earlier, Abeer Mughal (114) and Amir Butt (50) had proved a thorn in Horspath's side as Josh Cummings took 4-53, while Moon picked up 2-47 and there was a wicket apiece for Mike Naylor and Ben Foster.
