The League season finally gets under and away this Saturday with the 1st XI travelling to Tring Park in the Home Counties Premier Division One. Horspath have had some success at Tring before and will be hoping to get what promises to be a very competitive season off to a good start.
A strong looking 2nd XI commence their Cherwell League campaign with a home fixture against Bicester and NO and will be looking to improve on last season's mid table finish. The 3rds , following their promotion to Division 4 , travel to Long Marston, and with six Club 1st XIs in their Division can expect a tough season
The 4ths entertain East Oxford 2nds at home and start half an hour later at 1.00pm . Their mixture of young and old will be looking to repeat last year's strong performance when they narrowly failed to gain promotion.
Sunday sees the Club involved in two exciting Cup ties, unfortunately both away. The 1sts travel to Stanmore, following their first round victory at Chesham, to take on last years National runners up in the Royal London Club Championship. Whilst the Cricketer Village Cup team, following their 1st round win over Kingston Bagpuize, which featured two half centuries from Adi Manger and Dan Todd and five wickets for Luke Heritage, travel to Cumnor who are favourites for the Oxfordshire Group. Both Cup matches have a 1.00pm start time.
