Richardson rolls back the years with 7-22

STEVE Richardson rolled back the years to take 7-22 in Horspath 4th's four-wicket home win over leaders Bledlow Village 2nd in Cherwell League Division 7.

The former Garsington seamer's magnificent seven came in 15 overs as Bledlow were bowled out for 182 after being put in to bat, while David Wells completed the job with 3-54, with Paul Hicks taking four catches. Andrew Reclik (40), James Bacon (39) and Geoff Tombs (34) provided the backbone of the Bledlow innings.

Adam Thompson then hammered an unbeaten 67 to see Horspath home at 183-6 after skipper Carl Thompson had set his side on the way with 39 as Reclik took 3-49. The win takes Horspath up to third.
