Horspath secured their first trophy of the 2013 season when they demolished Cowley International in the Final of the Henry Alexander Cup at Combe on Friday night to win by 10 wickets.
There were the familiar faces of Shahbaz Alam, Ayaz Khan and Amin Rafiq in the Cowley side but they were blown away in a 4 over spell of 3-9 by Pat Foster with Moony taking 1-19 at the other. Things only got worse for Cowley when the spin of Lloyd Belcher and Dan Todd was introduced with Dan taking 2 – 9 and Lloyd 3 -0 in seven balls as Cowley were all out for an inadequate 43 in 11.1 overs.
