Horspath U9A got their season off to a winning start last night with a 141 run victory against Warborough & Shillingford.
Batting first, Horspath totalled 292 with Hylton Harvey top scoring on 22. They then restricted the home team to 151. Star bowler once again was Alfie Turner who took 7 wicket for just 4 runs in 3 overs. He was on a hat-trick twice during the night but failed to repeat the achievement of last week. George Crawford also deserves mention for his performance behind the stumps.
The next fixture for U9A is at home against Didcot.
