Foster fired up for Oxon Debut

Horspath seamer Patrick Foster will finally make his competitive debut for Oxfordshire in their Minor Counites Cricket Association Trophy Group 1 match against Cornwall at Challow & Childrey on Sunday (11am).

The former Durham UCCE bowler was called into the squad for their match against Hertfordshire last Sunday, but did not make the starting line-up for a game Oxon lost by seven wickets.  Foster has now been named in the actual X1, and so is certain to play in the crunch game, where victory would secure Oxfordshire’s progress into the quarter-finals.
