As 2012 draws to a close, it's time to look back at the stats from the 2012 season. First we take a look at the overall match statistics.
At the start of the season the Club's adult sides were scheduled to play a total of 112 matches. It turned out that a total of 38 matches (34% of the fixture list) were cancelled or abandoned due to bad weather or the opposition failing to raise a team. Worst hit was the Club XI with 48% of the 29 scheduled matches called off.
From the 74 matches actually played, a total of 38 matches were won, giving the Club an overall win percentage of 51%. The most successful team was the 2nd XI, with a win percentage of 69%. The least successful team was the 4th XI, with a win percentage of only 18%.
During the season, a total of 21 matches were lost (28% of the games played) and 15 ended as draws (21% of the games played).
