Division 1
Horspath foiled by the rain
Rain prevented Horspath extending their winning start to six matches just as they were closing in on victory at Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts on Saturday.
Nondies were struggling on 103-8, with Shabaz Alam (30) back in the pavilion and Will Eason (4-40) and Patrick Foster (3-31) in command, when the match ended 11 overs early.
Horspath had earlier struggled against Ross Brown (4-43) and Mark Strong (3-27), and had relied on Foster (49) to help them reach 145 all out.
Horspath still increased their lead because rain also denied Oxford Downs the chance of victory at Great & Little Tew.

Division 4
Horspath 2nd consolidated second place by beating nearest rivals Stokenchurch. Matthew O’Connor (45) top-scored in Horspath’s 235-6.  Arshad Latif hit 82 in reply, but Tom Smith claimed 4-38 as Stokenchurch fell for 191 in the final over.

Division 5
Seven-up for Slade
David Slade sliced through Horspath 3rd’s batting line-up to take 7-37 and set up a five-wicket win for Didcot. Simon Pritchard’s unbeaten 38 meant the hosts were in control after tea as they made their way to 76-5.
