Introducing : Harry Girling

Harry Girling
Today we introduce another new player joining the Club for the 2012 season.  Harry Girling is a 23 year old graduate from Birmingham University who previously played his cricket in Hampshire.  Harry works in the wine trade so is bound to fit in well with a few of our members.

Here's what Harry has to say about himself:

Batter/Bowler/Keeper: Middle or lower order batsmen who bowls a few overs
Most memorable individual cricketing performance: Bowling wise - A four wicket haul a couple of years ago Batting wise - scoring 40-odd in a 60-odd run partnership including a mamoth six against some decent bowlers last season!
Worst cricketing moment: any dropped catch, duck or run-out!
Favourite cricket ground (where you have played): Beaulieu (hampshire league) - on the banks of the Beaulieu River and they do a lovely tea!
Cricketing hero: Freddie Flintoff or Swanny
One rule you'd change to improve the game: Overthrows being allowed after a fielder has hit the stumps - ridiculous way to punish a good bit of fielding
