First Class Acquisition for Horspath

Patrick Foster
The Club is very fortunate to be joined by Patrick Foster for the new season. Patrick captained Durham UCCE as well as being on the staff of Northants, where he played two seasons with their second eleven after graduating through their academy. His total of 24 first class wickets is exactly 24 more than that achieved by Horspath’s other player with first class experience [Clive Ricks].

You can view Patrick's first-class record here.

Like most of our bowlers he also fancies himself with the bat. With Lee Mason looking full of running following the back operation, which made him miss the 2011season, the Club’s seam bowling resources appear formidable.

Patrick played the 2011 season with Teddington CC, who finished runners up to Ealing in the Middlesex Premier League, before arriving in Oxford to take up a teaching post at the Dragon School. He can be assured of a warm welcome at Horspath. He drinks lager!
