Lords Final in 2012?

If Horspath are to win the Oxon Group of the Village Cup for the first time since 1979, they are going to have to do it the hard way.

First up is a home tie against old rivals Aston Rowant on the 6th May. For the winners of that tie a home fixture against, in all probability Oxford Downs, awaits. Further progress would in all likely hood mean an away semi final against Shipton-u-Wychwood, who have not been beaten on their own ground, in this competition, since records began.

The only thing that can be said in favour of the top half of the draw, that includes the top six ranked sides in Oxon, is that whoever wins through hosts the final.
