Looking Back at 2011 (No.11) - Robbie Cooke

Robbie Cooke, the 3rd XI vice-captain, looks back at the 2011 season.  Robbie moved up to the 2nd XI later in the season where he made his top score of  91 against Banbury IIIs.  Robbie's personal record for 2011 can be seen here.

Interesting to see Cublington's Barmaids feature in the review again!!  See the 'team' from the Unicorn here.

Most Memorable Cricketing Moment in 2011 (Personal)?
Hitting my best club score of 91 (and a few big sixes for good measure) for the 2s on the main square, out in the sun, in front of the 'old guard'!
Most Memorable Cricketing Moment in 2011 (Team/Club)? Tough one - either the incredible finish at Brickhill or being just minutes away from an incredible turn-around at Cublington with the 2s
Worst Cricketing Moment in 2011? My catching at the beginning of the season was truly horrific! Luckily I pulled myself together later on...
Best & Worst Away Grounds visited in 2011? Best : The barmaids at Cublington.
Worst :  I missed all the truly bad grounds in div 6, so it has to go to Thame just out of principal!
Toughest Opposition Player Faced in 2011?The all-rounder for Nondies that smacked us for runs before tieing us up with spin. A Gentleman too.
Most Improved HCC Player in 2011?
Hendo - can't believe I didn't bowl him!!
Best Umpire in 2011? All those who volunteered to help out the 3s this year, especially Frank OC, Tommo, Deano, Adi's brother and a few more to boot.
Sum up the 2011 season in one sentence? If this was a 'weaker' year for the 'path, I can't wait to see what we've got up our sleeves for 2012!
