A resounding victory last night secured a quarter final place for the U-15s in the Oxon Section of the NatWest National Competition. Horspath set a formidable target of 138 -3 in their 20 overs. Dominic O’Connor scoring 51* well supported by Dan Jones 28 and Krushi 27. Warborough were swept away by a superb piece of left arm swing bowling by Abdul Saleem who returned the outstanding figures of 6 – 8 (which included 5 wides.) There were 2 wickets each for Waqas Latif and Matthew Henderson as Warborough totalled 19. The previous fixtures had seen the U-15s record victories against Aston Rowant, Tiddington, Britwell Cum Sotwell the only defeat coming against Thame. Horspath’s quarter final opponents will be Freeland. The game will be at Freeland on Monday 27th June 6.15 start.
